Dennis Heinen and Markus Schepke take over management of the aviation insurance division at Delvag

The two experienced Delvag underwriters Dennis Heinen and Markus Schepke will take over the management of the aviation insurance division at Delvag Versicherungs-AG with effect from 1 June 2022. They succeed Guido Lenssen, who left Delvag on 31 May 2022 to take up a new challenge outside the Lufthansa Group.

Heinen and Schepke are now jointly responsible as a management duo in "shared leadership" for Delvag's underwriting in General Aviation, Business Aviation, Hull Deductible and further types of aviation insurance. In their function, they report to Tobias Winkler, Chief Underwriting Officer of Delvag.

He comments on the appointment of the new leadership duo:

Dennis Heinen has been with the company since 2012 and has many years of expertise in the various areas of aviation underwriting at Delvag. Yet his focus has been primarily in General Aviation and Business Aviation.

Markus Schepke has been with Delvag since 1990. He is a proven expert in all types of aviation insurance and has been particularly involved in Hull Deductible Insurance for airlines.
