Tobias Winkler - Member of the Executive Board

We have firmly incorporated responsibility for sustainability into our corporate goals and culture.

In doing so, we take into account the three pillars of ecology, social responsibility and corporate governance and have already implemented numerous measures that we are constantly developing and expanding. The Delvag Group's Sustainability Board and our internal „Green Team“, a group of volunteers who develop and implement sustainable ideas on their own initiative, support us in this.

The UN Sustainable Development Goals on the radar

The orientation of our sustainability strategy is based on the United Nations' "Sustainable Development Goals" and formulated in line with the Lufthansa Group's sustainability management. In particular, we focus on eight selected fields of action:

3 | GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
To ensure that our employees feel good and healthy, we attach great importance to a working environment where this is guaranteed - today and in the future. Our focus is on an open corporate culture and a comprehensive health management system.

4 | QUALITY EDUCATION
With access to numerous training opportunities (Future Fit program), we support our employees in their personal development. In addition, we exchange ideas with other market players and networks to learn from each other.

5 | GENDER EQUALITY
Gender equality is very important to us. The focus is on eliminating stereotypes in everyday working life, building new networks and providing opportunities for further training. We support the reconciliation of family and professional life by making our working environment flexible. We see the fulfilment of this goal as a great opportunity, as the promotion of women, especially in management positions, brings new perspectives and competencies to our company.

7 | AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN ENERGY
A secure and reliable energy supply is a basic prerequisite for our business operations. In the long term, these requirements can only be met through the efficient use and expansion of renewable energies.

9 | INDUSTRY, INNOVATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE
In close cooperation with our business partners and suppliers, we are shaping our value chain to be reliable, sustainable and resilient. Concrete points of contact in this context are, for example, a high-performance internet supply and good transport links.

12 | RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION
Avoiding waste and developing circular solutions for all products and services is at the heart of this sustainability goal. To achieve this, efficiency improvements are just as necessary as a fully transparent use of resources within our company and throughout our supply chain. In practice, we are focusing on the optimisation of our internal processes and the strategic further development and realignment of our business model.

13 | CLIMATE ACTION
We are adapting to changing climate conditions by focusing on ambitious greenhouse gas reductions in our day-to-day office life, our internal capacity building, and informing our external stakeholders about how we are achieving our climate goals.

17 | PARTNERSHIPS FOR THE GOALS
Partnerships are essential for the successful implementation of our sustainability goals. To achieve this, we work closely with other economic and social stakeholders.
