About the "MIT FRAUEN IN FÜHRUNG" alliance
The Cologne alliance "MIT FRAUEN IN FÜHRUNG" has been in existence since 2016. Delvag I Albatros is a founding member. The network offers the currently 15 participating well-known Cologne companies the opportunity for regular exchange, impulse lectures and workshops on changing gender topics. The goals of the participating alliance companies include a balanced gender ratio in management positions, support for women in developing their full potential, commitment to pay equity and, last but not least, improving the compatibility of work and family.
The heart of the programme is the so-called cross mentoring with a mentor and a female mentee from a different alliance company. "The exchange of experiences at 'MIT FRAUEN IN FÜHRUNG' - especially with other sectors - is a real enrichment. Together, challenges can be addressed, discussed and solved. In this way, we continue to develop together and can courageously face new tasks", Tanja Wanitzeck, management consultant at Delvag Versicherungs-AG and participant in the 8th cross mentoring, says about the programme.
A few days ago, the festive closing event of the 7th cross mentoring took place in Cologne's City Hall. Mentors and mentees have used the past 15 months to make valuable contacts, gain insights into other companies and develop their careers. From Delvag I Albatros, Nicole Ribeiro Pereira, Head of Cargo Claims Delvag, participated as a mentee and Samir Koudhai, until April 2023 Senior Director Employee Benefits Albatros, as a mentor.
While the 8th cross mentoring has already been running for a few months, the 9th cross mentoring programme started in mid-September. We are pleased that our colleagues Julie Breuer, Corporate Broker - Markets & Clients Albatros, and Julia Lackmann, Officer Controlling Delvag, will be starting as mentees and Florian Pawelzick, Senior Director Aviation Insurance, and Dominique Ziegler, Executive Director Industry & Credit Cards Albatros, will be mentors. We wish all participants every success on this exciting journey!
