At the beginning of October 2023, four colleagues from Delvag I Albatros spontaneously stepped in to help out at the "Brotkorb Meschenich" food distribution point (Kölnberg) for the Cologne "Tafel" food bank.

A former board member and managing director of Delvag, who has been involved with the Cologne "Tafel" and the food distribution at Kölnberg for many years, had asked for support at short notice. Together with other helpers from the campaign, donated food from supermarkets and bakeries was packed into bags from a total of three delivery vans and handed out to a total of 100 recipients.

The campaign takes place every Wednesday and lasts all day. In total, there are 200 recipients at the "Brotkorb Meschenich" distribution point, half of whom collect food every two weeks. The distribution point is staffed mainly by flying personnel from Eurowings and Lufthansa.
