Future Fit

We attach great importance to the personal development of our employees. By offering numerous networking and training opportunities, we support their careers. Because we know that lifelong learning is important. This includes not only expanding professional knowledge, but also learning interdisciplinary skills such as soft skills and leadership competencies.

To achieve this, all employees work with their supervisors to draw up a personal development plan - tailored to their wishes and the requirements of their position – and create the capacity to implement it. In addition to several days' time off for seminars, weekly free time for further training is also scheduled in the daily work routine. In this way, we use our training budget specifically to promote our employees.

The „future fit“-Check

The "future fit" check gives all our employees the opportunity to anonymously test their own skills and find out where there is potential for further training.

The right learning experience for everyone

In acquiring knowledge, we also consider the different needs of various learning types and offer a wide variety of formats: Our learning offerings include a wide range of courses and workshops at the Lufthansa Group Campus. But we also make it possible to participate in external seminars. Another significant advantage is the broad positioning within Delvag and the Lufthansa Group. Our employees can learn a lot from each other, for example, when they visit another department. In the internal format "Each One Teach One," they also receive short training sessions on various topics from their colleagues or can become a lecturer themselves and share their knowledge. In addition, our employees have access to more than 13,000 training courses for professional and personal development via a free LinkedIn Learning account.
