Delvag Re underwrites proportional and non-proportional reinsurance treaty business in Europe and select non-European countries.

We prefer short- and mid-tail lines of business of small to medium-sized insurance companies which pursue a modern, yet traditionally-oriented reinsurance strategy looking for long-term partnerships. Treaties of large and global insurers are written when it makes sense for both parties,

We write bouquets and customised contracts. Natural perils excess of loss business is underwritten within a larger relationship, prefereably, as are long-tail lines of business. Currently, Delvag Re abstains from writing facultative business. At the moment, our maximum capacity per exposure is EUR 1.5M.
