Delvag and Delvag Rück received A-Rating

A. M. Best has upgraded the financial strength ratings of Delvag Luftfahrtversicherungs-AG and of Delvag Rückversicherungs-AG to A- (excellent, stable outlook) from B++ (good). At the same time the issuer credit rating has also been improved to A-.

The rating actions of A. M. Best reflect Delvag's improving risk-adjusted capitalisation and consistently excellent operating performance.

We regard this as a confirmation of our business strategy which focuses on solid underwriting and conservative investment policies. The improved rating is not only a confirmation but also a chance for us and a new challenge which we take on gladly.
