Insured risks
Delvag provides coverage against all risks – excluding those mentioned below - to which the goods are exposed during the insured period (all-risks-coverage). Delvag will indemnify for loss of or damage to the goods as a result of any of the insured risks.
Non-insured risks, Excluded Loss Damage or Expense
- War, civil war or warlike events; strikes, lockouts, labour disturbances, terrorist or political acts of violence, irrespective of the number of participants involved therein, riots and other civil commotions (inclusion possible, please contact us);
- Confiscation, seizure and other acts by authorities (inclusion possible, please contact us);
- Insolvency and default in payment bythe carrier or forwarder or other financial disputes involving the aforementioned parties;
- Moreover, loss, damage or expense caused by
- nuclear energy,
- delay,
- inherent vice or nature of the goods,
- ordinary shortage, shrinkage defined by quantity, measure and weight,
- normal atmospheric humidity and ordi-nary temperature fluctuations,
- lack of packing, sufficient to withstand usual stress of transportation
- breakage of tubes or threads (unless caused by fire, lightning, explosion or by an accident of the means of conveyance),
- indirect, consequential damage or expense of all kinds for example cost resulting from loss of production, de-crease in mercantile value, loss of interest and losses on exchange rates,
- scratches, abrasion and other damages to the finish of used cars/motorcycles.
