In the case of inspectors, the personal legal liability for personal
injury and property damage losses from the inspection of aircraft in accordance with statutory
inspection provisions is hereby insured.
If you are employed as an inspector and there is an aviation product liability insurance policy for your company, you are generally also insured under the existing insurance policy for the aircraft/aircraft equipment manufactured and inspected by the company.
On the other hand, if you work as a self-employed inspector or if you inspect aviation products of other companies, your own aviation inspector liability insurance should be concluded. The same applies for aircraft mechanics and workshop managers.
