Subsidiary CSL-Coverage

If you occasionally charter third-party aircraft as a private pilot for non-commercial purposes, you may conclude your own liability insurance tied to your person against liability claims directed at you personally. This is particularly advisable if you consider the sum insured concluded for the aircraft in question inadequate or if you are not quite clear on the existence of adequate cover. The insurance protection applies exclusively to the personal legal liability of the policyholder as owner and/or air carrier with a combined sum insured per loss event.

Insurance coverage applies secondarily, i.e. if benefits from liability insurance polices for the aircraft used by the policyholder are inapplicable or exhausted or if no appropriate insurance policies exist.

This insurance does not apply for use of your own aircraft.
